Mysore/Mysuru: The State Government has transferred as many as 108 Doctors and Medical Officers across the State who are presently working under Health and Family Welfare Department.
Those transferred include senior officials of the Department including four Deputy Directors, 8 specialists and 96 Medical Officers.
Dr. V. Santhosh, who was working as a Psychologist at Central Prisons, Mysuru, has been transferred as the District Leprosy Officer (DLO), Dr. M.C. Somashekara, Paediatrician at the General Hospital in Nagamangala has been transferred as District Leprosy Eradication Officer (DLEO) Mandya, Mysuru Salundi taluk Primary Health Centre (PHC) Medical Officer Dr. V. Brinda has been transferred as DLEO of Mysuru and Dr. V. Sanjay Associate Professor at MMC&RI has been transferred to State Nursing and Paramedical Science Authority, Bengaluru.
In addition, State Health and Family Welfare Department Deputy Secretary M.S. Archana has transferred four Deputy Directors and eight Specialist Doctors to various districts across the State.
