108 Surya Namaskaras at K. Hemmanahalli tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: On the occasion of Uttarayana, a mass yoga programme featuring 108 Surya Namaskaras will be organised tomorrow (Dec. 28) at Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple premises, K. Hemmanahalli, 9th km, Bogadi Road, Mysuru.

The programme will begin with the recitation of the Aditya Hridaya Stotra, composed by Maharshi Agastya, followed by the collective performance of 108 Surya Namaskaras, comprising the traditional 12-step sequence.

The event will commence at 6 am and concludes at 8 am.

No prior registration is required to participate. Participants are requested to bring their own yoga mats. Breakfast will be served after the programme.

The event is being organised with the support of the Yoga and Naturopathy Centre, AYUSH  Department, K.G. Koppal, Mysuru and Sri Patanjali Yoga Education Committee, Mysuru.
