7-year-old city girl drives 10-wheeled lorry !

Mysuru: In a rare achievement a 7-year-old girl of city is capable of effortlessly driving a 10-wheeled lorry, an array of four-wheelers and a Quad bike with such a skill that defies her age.

The girl Rifah Taskeen, daughter of Tajuddin and Bibi Fathima of N.R. Mohalla is a 2nd standard student at St.Joseph’s School in Bannimantap here. She is trying to enter the ‘Golden Book of World Records. Her prowess in driving was exhibited in a demonstration held this morning at St. Joseph’s School Grounds in Bannimantap here where she drove the four wheelers and at Edigah Maidan in Tilaknagar where she drove the lorry.

Speaking to SOM the girl’s father Tajuddin said that he began teaching her the art of driving a four-wheeler at the age of three. He opined that every child has a hidden talent which should be identified and nurtured.

Rifah Taskeen said that she aspired to become a fighter pilot in Indian Air Force(IAF) but also concentrate on education.

Santosh Agarwal, Representative of Golden Book of World Records present on the occasion told SOM that a provisional certificate would be given on behalf of the organisation to the girl.

    Rubbish..! 8 years child who’s not entitled to ride even moped without licence as per Indian Law, is allowed to drive the 10 wheels lorry. What’s our R.T.O doing ? If this happens in USA their would be a punishment.

    Please line up all the police personnel on the road and blindfold that 8 year old and let her drive that trick blindfolded, in full speed! Something good comes out of this! Either she will create a new world record or the world will get rid of the stupid police who don’t find fault with a 8 year old driving a monster truck
