Mysuru: As per the decision taken at the Irrigation Consultative Committee (ICC) meeting, water will be released to all Harangi left bank and right bank canals till Aug.1.

The Superintending Engineer (SE), Harangi Dam Circle, in a press release has appealed the people to use canal water only for drinking purposes and filling up water bodies. The SE has also asked the farmers not to grow crops using the released water.
