Mysuru: As part of its 216th Moonlight Music Concert, the Suttur Mutt has organised a Karnatak-Hindustani Jugalbandi on Sept. 14 at its premises in the foot of Chamundi Hill at 6 pm.
Veena exponent Vid. R.K. Padmanabha and Harmonium exponent Dr. Ravindra Gururaj Katoti will perform on the occasion. They will be accompanied by Vid. Anur Ananthakrishna Sharma on mridanga and Pt. Udayaraj Karpur on tabla.
Vid. R.K. Padmanabha is the son of Mysore Asthana Vidwan R.S. Keshavamurthy. Having performed all over the world, Padmanabha is also an Akashavani ‘A’ grade artiste. Meanwhile, Dr. Ravindra Gururaj, who is also an Akashavani ‘A’ grade artiste, works a music teacher.
