Mandya: An actress from Channapattana, who had gone missing under mysterious circumstances, has been found in Raichur this morning.

Following her missing, her shocked grandmother and mother had consumed poison. While the grandmother died at the hospital, the health of her mother is said to be critical.

The actress in question is Vijayalakshmi. Her grandmother Chennamma consumed poison three days ago and died at the hospital and her mother Savitha also consumed poison on the same day and is now battling for life at MIMS Hospital, Mandya.

On Dec. 15, Vijayalakshmi had gone to Raichur to shoot for the film ‘Tungabhadra’ and had come back to her house on Dec. 29. She left on Jan. 3 early morning and had gone missing. A complaint had been lodged by her father Swamy at Channapattana Rural Police Station.

In his complaint, her father had accused a film director behind his daughter’s disappearance. In her statement to TV channels this morning, Vijayalakshmi has clarified that she had come with the director to Raichur and has not gone missing.
