Mysore/Mysuru: JSS Medical College, a constituent college of JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, will be hosting its Graduates Reception on Mar.13 at 4 pm at Sri Rajendra Auditorium in the College premises.
On the occasion, 202 students who have completed their MBBS course will receive the graduation certificates while nine meritorious students will receive gold medals and cash prizes for their academic excellence.
Dr. Preethi Prakash Prabhu has secured five gold medals and five cash prizes for the top performances in various subjects during the course for Graduates Batch 2020.
The faculty of this institution will be honoured with prestigious Professor Y.T. Thathachari Endowment Prize for the ‘Best Research Publication’ and ‘Best Teacher Award.’ The top performers in co-curricular activities will also be recognised during this programme.
Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. Dr. H. Vinod Bhat, Vice-Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), will deliver the ‘Graduation Address’ and distribute the awards and medals to meritorious students. Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, Executive Secretary of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, will preside.
Dr. B. Suresh, Pro-Chancellor and Dr. Surinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, will be the guests of honour.
As on today, 4,817 Medical Graduates and 1,836 Post-Graduates have emerged from this institution and are torch-bearers as alumni who are committed professionals and researchers at various regions of the country and overseas, according to a press release from Dr. B.
