Prof. K.S. Saroja (84), retired professor and a resident of Saraswathipuram, passed away at her residence here this morning following brief illness.

She leaves behind her family members including her brother K.S. Sham Mohan, Retd. Deputy Drug Controller. She is the sister-in-law of Retired DIG and IGP S.N.S. Murthy.

Prof. Saroja served as the Statistics Professor at Marimallappa’s College and has guided several students and professionals.

Last rites will be held at the foot of Chamundi Hill at 10.30 am tomorrow, according to family sources.
