Dubai: The new JSS International School, constructed by JSS Mahavidyapeetha, was inaugurated by Indian Counsel General in Dubai Vipul at Jumera Village in Dubai on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, the Counsel General said that one could see success if he/she develops spiritualism in life and called upon NRIs there to make use of the opportunity as the school was providing various facilities to them.

Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji, speaking on the occasion, said that education makes a person a good citizen which would help in building a strong nation. He said that India which is rich in human resources is progressing towards success and added that Indians, irrespective of where they are residing, were the ambassadors of Indian culture.

He said that the age-old tradition of ‘Guru-Shishya’ should be nurtured and kept alive and called upon the youth to earn the goodwill of the people and not to get educated just for the sake of getting jobs.

Karnataka Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Tanveer Sait, who also spoke, said that education had become a challenging task and added that there is a need to provide quality education to the common people, which is the need of the hour. He called upon the gathering to make use of the opportunity and maintain their love for the motherland.

Dr. Bavaguthu Raghuram Shetty (Dr. B.R. Shetty), Founder and Non-Executive Chairman of Abu Dhabi-based NMC Healthcare, Chairman of UAE Exchange, Founder, CEO and MD of Neopharma and Chairman of BRS Ventures, who also spoke, said that everyone should have contentment in life which would lead to happiness and added that one should also contribute something good to the society apart from earning money.
