Hunsur: Senior Police Officer Raviprasad took over as the new Dy.SP of Hunsur Sub-Division on Wednesday. 

He took charge from K. S. Sundar Raj, who has been transferred to Karnataka Police Academy (KPA) in Mysuru.

The State Government, late on Monday night, had transferred 25 Dy.SPs and  ACPs across Karnataka State.

Prior to his transfer to Hunsur, Raviprasad was serving  as ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police) of Banasawadi Sub-Division at Bengaluru. 

He had in the past, served as Police Inspector at Chikkanayakanahalli, Hosadurga, Sheshadripuram in Bengaluru and several other places.

Police Inspectors K. C. Poovaiah, Chikkaswamy and  Ravikumar, Sub-Inspectors (SIs) Lathesh Kumar, Shivaprakash, Jayaprakash  and others were present on the occasion.
