Music concerts at Ganabharathi tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi has organised two music programmes to encourage young talents on Oct. 21 at Veene Seshanna Bhavana in Kuvempunagar.

From 6 pm to 7.15 pm, Vid. Srihari Bhat will present a  vocal concert and from 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm, Vid. Raghu Simha will give a  flute concert. They will be accompanied by Vidushi C.V. Shruthi on violin, Vid. Pavan Madhav Masur  on mridanga and Vid. T.N. Ajay on ghata.

Profile: Vidwan Srihari Bhat, a promising young Karnatak vocalist, was trained by guru Mangala in the beginning and continued with Vid. D.V. Nagarajan. Presently he is getting advanced training from Chitraveena N. Ravikiran. Vid. Srihari Bhat is a Bengaluru Akashavani artiste and a Chartered Accountant by profession.

Vidwan A.N. Raghu Simha is a young promising flautist, who began his music lessons at the age of 13 and is a student of Guru Ganakalashri Vid. L. V. Mukund. Vid. Raghu Simha  is in the final year of graduation and has won many prizes in various competitions.
