Mysore/Mysuru: Demanding the scrapping of National Testing Agency (NTA) for UGC-NET question paper leak and NEET-UG scam, activists of the All India Democratic Students Organisation (AIDSO) staged a demonstration in front of the Clock Tower in Manasagangotri campus here yesterday.
Seeking a fair judicial probe into UGC-NET paper leak, the protestors demanded stringent punishment to the perpetrators of the scam and urged the Centre to allow States to conduct Medical entrance exams.
Questioning how more than 60 students with serial roll numbers in one centre of Haryana State could score full marks in NEET-UG exam, the protestors argued that this reeks of rampant corruption and irregularities in the NTA and as such it should be scrapped.
Wanting the Government to conduct all National exams in 22 languages that find mention in eighth Schedule of the Constitution, they demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister for paper leak and scams.
