State Inter-District Junior and U-23 Athletic Meet concludes: Dakshina Kannada overall champs

Mysuru: Dakshina Kannada (DK) won the overall team championship title with a total of 402 points (30 Gold, 20 Silver and 23 Bronze Medals) on the concluding day of the 4-day Karnataka State Inter District Junior and U-23 Athletic Meet – 2024, organised by Mysore District Athletic Association (MDAA), at the Chamundi Vihar Stadium here yesterday.

Bengaluru (Urban) secured the second place with 242 points (11 Gold, 17 Silver, 20 Bronze) while Belagavi took the third place with 189 points (16 Gold, 9 Silver, 8 Bronze).

Dakshina Kannada athletes topped in the male section (186 points) and also stood first in the female section with 216 points.
