Gautama Buddha Stree Shakti Group bags Yashodharamma Dasappa Award

Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar conferred Kittur Rani Chennamma Award on six institutions and 20 women achievers, during the International Women’s Day celebrations organised at Ravindra Kalakshetra here on Saturday.

Smt. Yashodharamma Dasappa Award was conferred on four Stree Shakti groups including one from Mysuru on the occasion, along with releasing the editions of Antarala and guidelines for Model Parenting – 2024, brought out by Women and Child Development Department.

Apart from the institutions, the women achievers in the fields of service, literature, art, sports and education and for showing exemplary courage were given away the awards.

Sri Gautama Buddha Mahila Stree Shakti Self Help Group from Mysuru was among the four organisations from the State, conferred with Smt. Yashodharamma Dasappa Divisional Level Award.
