Mysuru, Oct. 15- Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Charitable Trust, V.V. Mohalla, will be presenting a classical vocal concert by Vid. Bangalore M. Nishanth at Jayanagar Sri Rama Mandira, on Oct. 18 at 6 pm.
Artistes’ Profile
Vid. Nishanth has drawn the attention of music lovers as a young artiste and since then proved his ability with an emphasis on aesthetics and melody and performed in many major Sabhas across the State and many Sabhas in Chennai and Hyderabad.
Initially he was under the tutelage of Vid. D.V. Nagarajan of Bengaluru for many years. Later he was groomed by Sangeetha Choodamani O.S. Thyagarajan.
Naturally he has the credit of securing many accolades and prizes in his successful musical journey, including CCRT Scholarship from GoI, Young Communicator for Music-2019 from Public Relations Council of India, Future Voice of Karnataka Music-2018, Prathibhakankshi Young Musician from Sri Ramaseva Mandali and Ananya-Nadajyothi Yuva Puraskara from Ananya Sabha.
Vid. Krithik Koushik, disciple of Vid. H.K. Narasimhamurthy & Vid. H.N. Bhaskar, Vid. Nandan Kashyap, disciple of Vid. V.S. Ramesh & Vid. Patri Sathishkumar and Vid. K.M. Likhith, disciple of Vidu. Bhagyalakshmi Krishna, will accompany Vid. Nishanth on violin, mridanga and morching respectively.
