Central Sanskrit University to host two-day National Seminar in city

Mysuru: The Central Sanskrit University (CSU), New Delhi, in association with Oriental Research Institute (ORI), Mysuru and the city’s Sri Vyasatirtha Samshodhana Pratishthanam (SVSP), has organised a 2-day National Seminar on ‘Darsanesu Khyatisvarupavimasah’ at Vijnana Bhavan in Manasagangothri on June 12 and 13.

The seminar will be inaugurated at 9.30 am tomorrow in the presence of Sri Satyatmatirtha Swamiji of Uttaradi Mutt. University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor Prof. N.K. Lokanath will preside.

SVSP Honorary Director Dr. A.V. Nagasampige will welcome the gathering while Prof. Srinivasa Varakhedi,  Vice-Chancellor of CSU, New Delhi, will deliver the keynote address.

Following the inauguration, sessions will begin at 11 am. In the first session, Vidwan C. Achyuthan of Chennai will present a paper. In the second session at 12.30 pm, Dr. Maheshwaran Namboodiri, faculty of the Department of Vedanta, Adarsha Mahavidyalaya, Chennai, will present a paper and in the third session at 2.30 pm, Vidwan S.P. Sudarshanacharya, lecturer, Medhagurukulam, Chennai, will present his paper.

On June 13, the sessions will commence from 9.30 am with  the first session featuring a paper presentation by  Vidwan Prahladacharya Joshi, faculty of Jayatirtha Vidyapeetha, Bengaluru.

The second session features paper presentation by Prof.Vachaspati Joshi of Sri Sankara Jagadguru Sanskrit Pathashala, Dharwad at 11am and the third session features paper presentation by Prof. C.A. Pradyumnacharya of Poornaprajna Vidyapeetha, Bengaluru.

The valedictory will take place at 4 pm. H.R. Nagendra Rao, Managing Director of NPEWASTE Pvt. Ltd., will be the chief guest.
