Two child labourers rescued from mutton stall

In a joint operation, the officials from the Labour Department, staff of the Child Helpline and the NR Police have rescued two child labourers who were found working in a mutton stall near Kuri Mandi in city.

Following complaints from the public, child labourers aged 14 and 15 years were rescued by the officials. It is  said that they were working since a few months in the mutton shop.

The raid was led by Senior Labour Inspector Veena. NR Police have registered a case against the stall owner in this regard.
