Mysuru: BJP National President Amit Shah will undertake a two-day tour of the State on Mar.26 and 27. Announcing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here this morning, City BJP President Dr. B.H. Manjunath said that Shah will tour Tumakuru, Shivamogga, Chitradurga and Davanagere during his two-day tour.
Upon his arrival, Shah will visit Tumakuru Siddaganga Mutt on the morning of Mar.26, following which he will address a rally of coconut growers at Tiptur before leaving for Shivamogga.
Upon his arrival in Shivamogga, Shah will visit Rashtrakavi Kuvempu Memorial at Kuppali in Teerthahalli, following which he will address a Areca Growers meet and hold a road show at Shivamogga, besides interacting with Seers of various Mutts.
On Mar.27, Shah will begin his programme by taking part at ‘Mushti Dhanya Abhiyana’ at Davanagere following which he will visit Sirigere Mutt and Madara Channaiah Swamiji Mutt and seek blessings of the Seers.
Shah will later visit Murugha Mutt at Chitradurga, following which he will take part in SC/ST rally at Challakere and address party workers at Chitradurga Shakti Kendra, before winding up his 2-day tour, Manjunath said.
BJP leaders H.V. Rajeev, Prabhakar Shinde and others were present at the press meet.
