Sir,
While I appreciate all the good work done by the authorities in Karanji Lake, there are a few things which I want to bring it to the notice of the authority.
Recently I happened to visit the Karanji Lake over the weekend. I had my kids and parents along with me. With my aged parents not able to do the complete walk in one stretch, I had a mobile collapsible chair with me. Everything was fine until the security guard stopped me and asked me to put back the mobile chair back in my car. When I questioned, he said that there are many chairs available all over the Lake and we need not bring our own chair.
As you see in the photograph, in the long stretch there is not even a single chair. I was not able to convince him that this chair is for my parents who stop at points and sit before they walk the complete stretch. I had to give up the argument as all the guards gathered together and started pushing me out.
I am not able to understand this strange rule. I request the Zoo Authority, under whom the Karanji Lake comes, to help me understand this strange rule. Are you trying to help people spend some peaceful time around the Lake or put people into trouble? Please modify all such junk rules or put more chairs along the path.
