Mysore/Mysuru: The Kannada novel Aadarshavadi by senior journalist K.B. Ganapathy (KBG) has gone into second edition after 30 years. It was first published in 1992.
Kavitha Prakashana of Publisher Ganesh Amingad has brought out this second edition.
“The book was published in 1992 and I had forgotten about it. However, when Ganesh Amingad, who had earlier read it, reminded me of it suggesting a second edition, I had happily agreed,” said KBG.
The book discusses an individual’s claim for idealism in life and how he gives up those ideals in the face of hard realities of life.
“This is a unique kind of novel where man’s greed makes him to compromise on ethical principles. Though 30 years have passed, the book seems relevant to the contemporary ethos. Our publication considers it a privilege to bring this second edition,” says Publisher Ganesh Amingad in a press note.
The book priced at Rs. 160 is available for Rs. 100 as early-bird offer. For further information and the book, contact Mob: 98801-05526.
