Accident victim succumbs to injuries

Mysore/Mysuru: A 34-year-old woman, who had sustained serious head injuries in a road accident and admitted to K.R. Hospital, has succumbed to injuries at the hospital. The deceased woman has been identified as Shruthi, who was staying at Ashodaya Samithi in T.K. Layout.

On July 18, Shruthi was riding pillion on a scooter when the rider lost control of the vehicle near Mane Manchamma Dandina Maramma Temple while taking a turn towards Ashokapuram from Manandavadi Main Road resulting in Shruthi falling from the scooter and sustaining serious injuries on her head.

Shruthi was immediately rushed to K.R. Hospital but she succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

A case has been registered at K.R. Traffic Police Station.
