Mysore/Mysuru: Government Youth Hostel, Mysuru, in collaboration with Divya Electricals, Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital and Shri Poornima Hospital, Mysuru, had organised a programme recently to inaugurate the water fountain and fancy flags at the Youth Hostel premises in Gangothri Layout, Saraswathipuram.

Dr. B.S. Manjunathaswamy, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, YHMC, Mysuru, inaugurated the fountain and fancy flags. H.E. Basavaraju, Proprietor, Divya Electricals, was the chief guest. Vedavathi, Corporator, was the guest of honour.

Later special lectures on “Importance of Eye Donation” were delivered by Dr. R. Umesh, Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist, Dr.Agarwal’s Eye Hospital; on “Personal Hygiene & Immunity” by Dr. Sowmya Murthy of Shri Poornima Hospital (for MCC Pourakarmikas).

Sangeetha rendered the invocation and also compered.

Dr. Prasad Manager, Government Youth Hostel, welcomed. Hostel inmates, MCC Pourakarmikas and Hostel staff members took part.
