Mysuru: Following are the events to be held tomorrow (Feb.4) as part of the Annual Jathra Mahotsava at Suttur in Nanjangud:

4 am: Karthur Gadduge, Maharudrabhisheka; 6.30 am:  Peace-prayer Friendship March; 7.30 am: Shatsthala Flag Hoisting – Sri Channabasava Deshikendra Swamiji, Sri Saleelakhya Mutt, Bettadapura and Kannada Mutt, Bettageri, Virajpet. Message – Sri Immadi Basavarajendra Swamiji of Sri Dooda Mutt, Kunduru,  Malavalli taluk.

10.30 am: Inauguration of Seminar on Agriculture

Topic: Enhancing the farmers’ income – Opportunities and Challenges. Sri Jayendra Puri Mahaswamiji of Sri Kailasashrama Mahasamsthana, Bengaluru and Sri Mummadi Nirvanaswamiji of Sri Degula Mutt, Kanakapura, will grace the occasion.

Minister for Agriculture N.H. Shivashankara Reddy inaugurates. Union Minister of State for Drinking Water and Environment Ramesh C. Jigajinagi presides. Release of ‘Krushi Kayak’ special issue by former Minister V. Sreenivasa Prasad. MLAs Ettimadai A. Shanmugam, M.Y. Patil & C. Anilkumar, former MP M.Shivanna , former MLC Thontadarya and former Minister C.H. Vijayashankar chief guests.

Speech by V. Kantaharaju of Kambalipura, Anekal taluk and Chinnaswamy Vaddagere of Vaddagere, Gundlupet taluk.

4 pm: Valedictory of Seminar on Agricultural, Sri Basava Marulasiddha Swamiji of Sri Basava Kendra, Shivmogga and BK Lakshmiji of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Mysuru, will grace the occasion. Former Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa delivers the valedictory address. Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Krishna Byregowda presides. MP Shobha Karandlaje, MLAs A.H. Vishwanath, H.K. Kumaraswamy & M.P. Renukacharya, MLC S. Rudregowda, former MLC K.R. Mallikarjunappa, VRL Groups of Industries CMD Dr. Vijay Sankeshwar and Chennai-based Vels Educational Institutions Founder-Chairman Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh chief guests. Lectures by Kavitha Mishar of Kavithala, Manvi taluk and S.T. Patil of Chikkanaada, Indi taluk.
