Mysuru; The thirteenth annual get-together of Jayalakshmi Kodava Association was held recently at Kodagu Sahakara Sangha premises in Jayalakshmipuram.

On the occasion, merit scholarship was awarded to Kadira Honal Appachu.

Maneyapanda Sachi Ponnamma, Principal of MICA College, was honoured on being nominated as the Syndicate  and Academic Advisory Council member of the University of Mysore.

Anjaparavanda Neetu Ganapathy, Associate Professor at SDM-IMD, was also honoured  for receiving the ‘Outstanding Teaching Award-2016’ given by the Global Management Education Institute of Shanghai University in China.

Treasurer Muckatira Somaiah presented the accounts for the year 2016-17. Muruvanda Indira Ganapathy conducted games for the members.

Earlier, the function began with invocation by Macharanda Uthappa. Association President Alamengada P. Vittal welcomed and presided. Condolences were offered to six of the departed members during the last one year.

Jammada Ganesh Aiyanna compered and proposed a vote of thanks. Pattada Jayakumar conducted the scholarship event.
