Mysuru: The D. Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation has invited applications from candidates belonging to Uppara and Ambiga Communities and all other backward communities (barring Vishwakarma and sub-castes and religious minorities) for availing various benefits extended by the Corporation.

The applicants must belong to Backward Class categories — 1, 2A, 3A and 3B (barring Vishwakarma and sub-castes and religious minorities), with annual family income not exceeding Rs. 40,000 for rural applicants and not exceeding Rs. 55,000 for urban applicants. Also, applicants must be in the age group of 18 to 55 years.

The facilities are extended under 1. Chaitanya Sahayadhana Yojane, 2. D. Devaraj Urs Self-employment Scheme, 3. Micro-financing, 4. Loans and subsidy for traditional craftsmen and those engaged in occupational jobs, 5. Interest-free student loans for pursuing higher education in foreign Universities and 6. Ganga Kalyana Yojane.

The prescribed application forms can be collected from the District Office of D. Devaraj Urs Backward Class Development Corporation in Mysuru and at the Backward Classes Welfare Department in all Taluks.
