Applications invited for admission to JSS Hostels, Orphanages

Mysuru: JSS Mahavidyapeetha has invited applications for admissions to various Hostels, Makkala Kuteera and Orphanages run by it in Mysuru, Chamarajanagar and Hassan for students from class 5 to 10 studying in recognised Government Schools during 2019-20.

Admissions are open at JSS Anathalaya, Lakshmipuram, Mysuru, JSS Anathalaya, Mysuru Road, K.R. Nagar, JSS Makkala Kuteera, Hullahalli, Nanjangud taluk, JSS Anathalaya, B.Rachaiah Double Road, Chamarajanagar, JSS Anathalaya, Terakanambi, Sri Basaveshwara Anathalaya, Bachahalli, Sri Basaveshwara Anathalaya,  Shivapura and Basaveshwara Anathalaya at Vaddagere, all in Gundlupet Taluk of Chamarajanagar district.

Applications are also invited for JSS Private Pre-matric Hostel for Boys at Ramapura in Kollegal taluk and JSS Anathalaya, Doddakadanur in Holenarasipura taluk. Food, accommodation, clothes, a pair of uniform will be provided for the inmates of the hostel. Interested may obtain the application forms from the respective Hostel Wardens and submit the same before June 5, stated the press release.

SKCV Hostel

Sahukar Kabballi Channabasappa Veerashaiva (SKCV) Ashrama too has invited applications from students, who have passed SSLC in first class, belonging to Veerashaiva community, to avail hostel facility for the academic year 2019-20.  Meritorious Veerashaiva-Lingayat students who are below poverty line (BPL card holders) and residing in Gundlupet taluk can visit the Hostel Office between June 1 and June 10 to obtain the application forms from 10.30 am to 3 pm. Pre-matric Girls Hostel at K.R. Nagar

Backward Classes Welfare Department, K.R. Nagar, has invited applications from eligible students for admission to Pre-matric Girls Hostel at K.R. Nagar Town and Pre-matric Boys Hostel at K.R. Nagar Town, Hosa Agrahara, Bherya, Meluru, Mirle, Hanasoge and Haradanahalli.

Students belonging to Backward Class categories 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B and SC/ST communities studying in 5th std. to 10th std. are eligible to apply for the facility. Annual income for students should be within Rs. 44,500, for category 1 within Rs. 1,00,000 and for SC/ST students within Rs. 2,00,000.

Application forms can be obtained free of cost from respective Hostel Wardens or Extension Officer, Backward Classes Department. The filled in forms along with necessary documents should be submitted before June 20 to the above Office. For details, contact Ph: 08223-262230.
