Mysore/Mysuru: C.S. Arun Machaiah, former MLC, Hon. President of Mysore Karate Association, senior Vice-President of Karate India Organisation and President of Akhila Karnataka Sports Karate Association, has been selected to participate in the Commonwealth Karate Championship to be held at Birmingham in England (UK) from Sept. 26.

Arun Machaiah has represented India in various international Karate championships across the globe and has brought laurels to the country. Machaiah was felicitated at the valedictory function of the National Karate Championship held recently at Pune in Maharashtra for being selected to represent the country at the Commonwealth Karate Championship.
