Mysore/Mysuru:  The Association of Alliance International District 255(D) hosted its 2nd District Convention ‘Jayadratha’ at Kalyani Hotel in Hebbal recently, bringing together over 500 delegates and organisation leaders to celebrate a year of unprecedented growth and service.

​The convention was inaugurated by the Founder of Association of Alliance International, Ally Tirupati Raju, who was accompanied by his spouse. In his keynote address, Ally Tirupati Raju expressed immense pride in the organisation’s trajectory, noting that the Karnataka Chapter has achieved “monumental growth” in a short span of just two years.

​International Director Ally Dr. Nagaraj V. Bairy echoed this sentiment, revealing that a movement that began with a modest group of 75 members has now surged to over 3,500 members across Mysuru, Bengaluru, Mandya and neighbouring districts.

​A central highlight of the convention was the recognition of Ally Lion Dr. S. Venkatesh for his visionary leadership as District Governor. Speakers noted that under his tenure, the District saw a record-breaking emergence of new Clubs and a significant increase in Life Membership Fund (LMF) enrolments.

The gathering also honoured the legacy and contributions of Past District Governor Siribalu.

​Election & Cabinet 2026-27

​The Convention served as a crucial transition point for leadership, with the official announcement of the 2026-27 Cabinet:

​District-Governor Elect: Ally Mahabaleshwar Bairy (who formally presented his incoming cabinet). ​First Vice-District Governor: Ally Santosh Kumar. ​Second Vice-District Governor: Ally Gangadharappa. ​Third Vice-District Governor: Ally Shalini Nagaraj.

​The event was attended by a host of distinguished leaders, including ​Ally K.M. Muniyappa (International Committee Chairman); ​Ally Bettegowda (District Cabinet Secretary), Ally Krishnaji Rao (Treasurer), ​Ally Srishaila (PRO), Ally Ganesh (Ambassador) and ​Regional Chairpersons Shobha Siribalu, Dr. Raju and  Dr. Raveesh.

​The session concluded with felicitation to Founder Tirupati Raju and his wife Nirmala.
