More on autos violating rules

November 30, 2017

Sir,

This is in support of the letter “Keep a check on autos with expired documents” (SOM dated Nov. 27 by K. Chandrahas). Nowadays we find most of the autos without back number plates. And most of them have very small rear number plates, as the size of a ruler.

They have a co-driver, most of the drivers do not follow the traffic rules and they are even bold enough to violate the traffic rules. It is not known why there are many Kerala (KL), and few Goa (GA) and Maharashtra (MH) Registration vehicles, running.

It is a known fact that they have an Auto Owners and Drivers Association supporting them. Similarly, the Private Bus and Lorry Owners and Drivers Association too.

Will the authorities concerned see to it that the autos are also checked regularly for documents and if they have any traffic violations?
