Sir,
I am writing this letter on behalf of the residents of Ramakrishnanagar (R.K. Nagar) E and F Block, Mysuru, to bring to the notice of the authorities concerned, including the MP and MLA of this Constituency, the appalling condition of our roads, which has been causing immense hardship to residents, commuters and businesses alike.
The roads in our area were dug up for UGD repairs six months ago and remain riddled with potholes and uneven surfaces, making it difficult for vehicles to navigate, especially during peak hours.
This has led to increased traffic congestion, accidents and vehicle damage. Furthermore, the poor road conditions are also affecting the health and well-being of pedestrians, cyclists and motorists, who are exposed to dust, noise pollution and other hazards. I request the MP and MLA to take immediate action.
Additionally, I urge the new Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner, Shaikh Tanveer Asif, to continue making surprise visits across Mysuru city to witness the distress faced by residents like us, who are suffering despite paying our taxes.
We, the residents, would appreciate it if the authorities could urgently look into this matter and take necessary steps to address these issues.
