Mysuru: C.S. Anush, a second year BBA student of Trinity College in city,  has bagged the gold medal and first place in the Male Senior Kumite category (70 kg) at the Second UGKFI National Karate Do Championship organised under the aegis of The Gojuryu Karate Do Federation of Tamil Nadu, at Coimbatore on Feb 2, 2025.

By winning the first place along with a gold medal, Anush, who is training at Gojukan Karate Institute in Mysuru city, has qualified for the International-level Championship to be held in Sri Lanka during May this year.

Anush is coached by Sensei Deepak Kumar and Sensei S. Rohith of Mysuru.

Anush is the son of C.G. Shivashankar and Sheela couple, residents of Lalithadripura.
