Bakery employees seek protection

Mysore/Mysuru: The members of Karnataka State Bakery Employees Association staged a protest recently demanding severe action against those who assault bakery workers and sought proper protection for them.

Staging a protest in front of City Law Courts, they condemned the recent deadly attack on 3 bakery employees at Kundanahalli near Bengaluru by local rowdies at night. The Government should immediately take legal action against those who attacked the bakery workers and ensure proper protection, they said and demanded that the Labour Department should take proper steps and protect the bakery employees.

Association President Shivaraju, Vice-President Vimal Kumar, Secretary Anand and others participated in the protest.
