March 24, 2018

Mysuru: Balidan Divas was observed by various organisations in city yesterday.

All India Democratic Students Organisation (AIDSO) had organised a programme at Ramaswamy Circle where revolutionists Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajaguru were remembered for their gallantry and sacrifice while revolting against the British.

Speaking on the occasion, AIDSO State Executive Committee Member Ajay Kamath opined that true independence will be achieved when harassment of a person by another person becomes extinct which demands a sort of social revolution.

AIDSO District President H.M. Basavarj, Vice-President Akash, Office-bearers Asiya Begum, Chandrakala and others were present during the occasion.

Yuva Bharath Sanghatane and Triveni Gelyara Balaga had organised a programme at Triveni Circle in N.R. Mohalla.
