An unbeaten knock by skipper S. Meghana (34 n.o, 44b, 2×4) and her 56-run partnership with her fellow opener M.M. Chauhan (22, 34b, 2×4) enabled India Green to register a facile nine-wicket win over India Red in the Round III BCCI Women’s U-23 T20 Challenger Trophy 2018-19 tie played at the SDNR Wadiyar Grounds here on Saturday.

Scores — India Red: 75 in 17.4 overs (Minnu Mani 25, Shannti Kumari three for 10, Sushree Dibyadarshini three for 14) lost to India Green: 79 for one in 16.3 overs (S. Meghana 34 n.o, M.M. Chauhan 22); Points: India Green – 4 and India Red – 0.
