Bike-borne miscreants rob autorickshaw passenger

Victim loses bag containing gold and cash

Mysuru: Bike-borne miscreants have snatched a bag containing gold jewellery from a lady passenger travelling in an autorickshaw on Irwin Road here yesterday.

The woman, a resident of Hebbal in city, was proceeding to the bus stand to catch a bus to Bengaluru at about 4 am when two bike-borne miscreants who were following the autorickshaw on Irwin Road, snatched the bag containing 25 grams gold necklace, three mobile phones, three ATM cards and Rs. 3,000 cash and fled from the scene.

The woman immediately lodged a complaint with Mandi Police.

Mandi Police, who have registered a case, have launched a hunt to nab the miscreants.
