Mandya:  Gowri-Ganesha Festival turned out to be fatal for a motorcycle rider who was killed on-the-spot in a accident that occurred in K.R. Pet taluk on Thursday. The deceased bike rider has been identified as Puttegowda (48) of Kundur near Kikkeri in K.R. Pet.

Puttegowda was travelling on Karigonahalli-Lingapura Road to visit his father-in-law’s house for Ganesha Festival, when he met with a self-accident and died on the spot, it is learnt. Kikkeri Police have registered a case.
