BSY visits Suttur Mutt, seeks Seer’s blessings
Mysore/Mysuru: Former Chief Minister and senior BJP leader B.S. Yediyurappa (BSY) asserted that the BJP would return to power with a thumping majority by winning more than 140 seats in the forthcoming Assembly polls.
He was speaking to press-persons at Suttur Mutt here this morning, where he sought the blessings of Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and had breakfast there. BSY had arrived in the city last evening and stayed overnight.
Lashing out at the Opposition Congress for making baseless charges against the BJP, Yediyurappa maintained that there is a BJP wave in the State and the Congress is disturbed over it. Stating that he will undertake a tour of the entire State after Apr.1 for organisation of the party, the former CM said he was happy that the party workers have been successful in delivering the benefits of various State and Central Government schemes to the doorsteps of beneficiaries, which is crucial for the poll success of a party.
When asked about the chances of poll advancement in the State, BSY said that there is no such move and such speculations will arise whenever Amit Shah happens to visit the State.
Replying to a question on change of leadership, Yediyurappa said that there is no change and Basavaraj Bommai will continue as the CM.
“Bommai will lead the party in the coming Assembly polls and no one need to have any doubt regarding this. All speculations regarding change of leadership are baseless and there is no need to pay heed for them,” he said.
When asked about BJP’s strategy for Karnataka polls, in the wake of the party’s recent poll success in five States, BSY said that the party will have to strategies on taking along all communities coming under SC/ST and OBC categories on a much larger scale.
Arguing that women em-powerment is also crucial for poll success, the ex-CM said the party will work towards making the initiative cent percent successful. Stating that ‘Nari Shakti’ is a crucial factor, he said the BJP Government has done more for empowerment of women than any Government in the past.
Former MP C.H. Vijayashankar, Karnataka Safai Karmachari Commission Chairman Shivanna, Chairmen of various Boards and Corporations — H.V. Rajeev, Ka.Pu. Siddalingaswamy, Hemanth Kumar Gowda and L.R. Mahadevaswamy — in-charge Mayor Sunanda Palanetra, Corporators B.V. Manjunath, M.V. Ramprasad and Lakshmi Kiran Madegowda, City BJP President T.S. Srivatsa, District President Mangala Somashekar, party leaders M. Rajendra, M.V. Ravishankar, Kautilya Raghu and other leaders were present.
Yediyurappa later left for Virakta Mutt in Yelandur by road.
Why should we give you votes? You old people are useless… Let some youngster like Kejriwal make Bangalore and Mysore a beautiful place. You had your chance and we saw all the dirty drama. Now please take retirement and let the youth take over. You are all outdated and have no vision for Karnataka.

If BJP returns to power then please give Karnataka the same importance as Uttar Pradesh. Please don’t have step-motherly treatment towards Karnataka just because it has only 28 Lok Sabha seats compared to UP’s 80 Lok Sabha seats. Please construct world-class expressways as they are being constructed in UP at a rapid pace. It’s is unfortunate that Karnataka doesn’t have an expressway even between its two biggest cities till now. Please develop heritage cities in Karnataka like Mysore and Hampi the same way as Varanasi and Ayodhya are being developed. BJP should walk the talk about its so called “double engine” growth.
Please watch what Kejriwal can do to improve our state

Hello A
Interesting the name you use there, as A always stands for A(ss), the braying animal with a dull brain!
You argue: “It’s is unfortunate that Karnataka doesn’t have an expressway even between its two biggest cities till now. Please develop heritage cities in Karnataka like Mysore and Hampi the same way as Varanasi and Ayodhya are being developed”
Haven’t you aware that the 10-lane expressway between Mysore -Bangalore is going to be opened for use this October?
I know why you cannot also grasp, that development and preservation of heritage do not go together.
Despite being Modi;’s constituency and the saffron clad fool Adityanath , calling himself a Yogi worshipping, Varanasi still has very polluted Ganga, and still receives the sewage effluents of Varanasi led into it. The holy river stinks. But, if you referring to the premises of the Vishweshwara Temple there, which is paved well, that is because the devotees pour money in the hundi there! Otherwise, the whole Varanasi, is a smelly dump with homeless and the destitute wandering around, just like in Karnataka.
Mysore is developed beyond recognition-look at how the city has spread into miles and miles around reaching Banni Mantap and beyond, and towards Wayanad and Nilgiris. clearing forests and greeneryon the way, replacing them with housing and factories. Hampi was destroyed with the neglect and pilferage of stone carvings for tens of decades-thanks to Karnataka people, and Muslim rulers who did not care for anything resembling Hinduism.
The Chamundi Hill is destined for development too in the form of Rope Way construction, and the Temple there will be more rich too,-the priests are rubbing their hands with glee as tourist numbers are expected to multiply many fold. In a few years, there will be no Chamundi Hill.
@Singh
You seem to hallucinating!
Don’t be daft! No , Indian politician is without corruption, including that idiot Kejriwal with his silly cap with his party logo printed on its side!
Hos promises in Delhi are not kept, no free WiFi promised yet to happen, the education and health improvements boasted are only in the propaganda messages he spreads costing crores of tax payers money. Bad reputation in Covid handling too.
AAP, BJP ,Congress and all other parties are corrupt to the core. India is a massively corrupt country, where politicians, administrators, institutions and society are all corrupt. You seem not to notice that tens of thousands of young educated Indians are escaping from the country, and rush into even tiny New Zealand to be as far as possible this corrupt cesspit!
But, keep hallucinating!!
Hey Singh!
