Mysuru: Dr. V. Udayashankara, Professor, Department of Electronics and Instrumentation, SJCE, JSS Science and Technology University, (JSS STU), Mysuru, has authored a book on ‘Speech Signal Processing’ which is the one of its kind book. It covers fundamental aspects of modern speech signal processing with simple mathematical illustrations and the book is published by I.K. International.

Dr. Udayashankara has immense experience and expertise in the field and developed this book from student-centric viewpoint. He has authored several books published by MC Graw Hill and Prentice Hall to date.

The management and the University, lauding Dr. Udayashankara for his contribution to the learning community, hoped that the students and researchers make use of this book.
