Mysuru: Stepping up his campaign as the poll date draws near, coalition candidate C.H. Vijayashankar held road shows in various villages coming under Chamundeshwari Assembly segment of Mysuru-Kodagu LS Constituency on Saturday.

Vijayashankar addressed gatherings at Bogadi, Dasanakoppalu, Maratikyatanahalli, Ganaganahundi, Sahukarhundi, Basavanapura, Belavadi and other villages and sought  votes for him.

Stressing that the EVM will have the Congress party symbol and there will be no JD(S) party symbol, Vijayashankar appealed the villagers to take note of this and cast their votes in favour of Congress symbol ‘Hand.’

MLA Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah, former ZP President K. Marigowda, APMC President K. Prabhuswamy, ZP member Rakesh Papanna, leaders Nandini Chandrashekar, Manjula Manasa, Krishna Kumar Sagar and others were present.
