Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement has invited applications from children of Karnataka domiciled Ex-Servicemen who have scored above 60% marks in SSLC and PUC (2020-21), to avail Gen. K.S. Thimayya Cash Prize. Students from Mysuru, Mandya and Chamarajanagar are eligible to apply.

Student scholarship: The Department has also invited applications from children of Karnataka domiciled Pensioner Ex-servicemen to avail student scholarship (2021-22). Children studying in Class 1 to final year Degree, Diploma and other professional courses, can apply. Books grant: Furthermore, the Department has invited applications from children of Karnataka domiciled non-pensioner ex-servicemen and children of ex-servicemen from other States residing in Karnataka, to avail books grant for the year 2021-22. Children studying in Class 1 to final year degree and Diploma are eligible to apply.
