Can MCC fix this stench problem?

April 29, 2023

Sir,

This is to bring to the notice of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner on how a citizen struggles to get the due services from the local body.

A UGD pipe cracked during a work by MCC on sixth main Subhashnagar, next to house no. 47 and is overflowing into the storm water drain, causing unbearable stench and  mosquito menace.

The issue was continuously followed up with the Corporator and  MCC Engineer only to get empty assurances and eye-washing visits.

We tried to reach out to MCC through e-mail, but in vain.

I wonder what else, as a common citizen, one has to do to get such serious things fixed?
