Mysuru: A special programme to celebrate the birth centenary of renowned Kannada actor K.S. Ashwath will be held on Mar. 25 at Kalamandira in city at 4.30 pm, said senior theatre person Rajashekara Kadamba.

Addressing the media persons here recently, Rajashekara Kadamba said that senior Kannada actors Srinath and Ravi Chandran and actor-politician Kumar Bangarappa, journalists Ranganath Bharadwaj, B. Ganapathi, Amshi Prasanna Kumar among others would be present on the occasion.

A series of cultural events including recital of songs featuring late K.S. Ashwath will be present during the celebrations.

Actor Shankar Ashwath, Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishat, Mysuru Unit President Dr. Nagaraj V. Bairy, Mandya Satya and Nagaraj were present at the press meet.
