Nanjangud: Centenarian Lingappa (Paradeshi Lingappa) passed away at Hulimavu in                                Nanjangud taluk yesterday.

The 100-year-old is survived by his wife Chinnamma, 4 sons, including former Hulimavu Gram Panchayat President H.L.Somashekar and Hulimavu Milk Producers Co-operative Society Director H.L. Shivakumar, 2 daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Hulimavu this afternoon, according to family sources.
