CET: City boys bag 31st and 57th ranks

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2017 results this afternoon. The examination was held for granting admission in professional educational institutions in Karnataka for the academic year 2017-18.

In the results, K. Deepak from Vidya Vardhaka Sangha (VVS) Golden Jubilee PU College in Kuvempunagar, Mysuru, secured 31st rank in the Engineering stream. He has scored 59 in Physics, 58 in Chemistry and 58 in Mathematics.

Y.R. Prajwal of Vijaya Vittala Composite PU College has secured 57th Rank in Engineering. He has scored 54 in Physics, 57 in Chemistry and 57 in Mathematics.  Prajwal is the son of Y.R. Raghu and K.R. Mala of Kuvempunagar. He secured first place for Mysuru in the Second PUC exam by scoring 593/600.

Other achievers from VVS Golden Jubilee PU College are M.S. Yashwanth Kumar (589), K. Ashwin Kumar (592) and Aditya N. Pai (962nd rank).
