Bengaluru: The Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to Engineering and other professional courses will be held across the State on May 2 and 3.
For the first time, there will be question papers in Kannada too along with English.
Minister for Higher Education Basavaraj Rayareddy said that the Kannada question papers will be introduced for the first time in order to benefit rural students.
The Biology exam will be held from 10.30 am to11.50 am and Mathematics from 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm on May 2.
The Physics exam will be held from 10.30 am to 11.50 am and Chemistry from 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm on May 3.
The students have to carry blue or black ball pens along with them as they have to answer in OMR sheets.
Also, the students are required to report at their respective exam centre half an hour before the commencement of the exam and have to carry an identity card such as College ID, PUC hall ticket, bus pass, DL, passport, Aadhaar card or PAN card, along with their CET hall ticket.
The students are also barred from sporting watches or carrying tablet, cell phone or calculators.
