CSIR-CFTRI is organising a virtual 6-week Technology-based Entrepreneurship Development (TEDP) programme supported by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, on Food Processing and Technologies from Feb. 25.
Participants will be given insights about indigenous technologies developed by CFTRI for commercial purpose.Topics include opportunities in food processing sectors, novel food technologies, regulatory issues, etc.Thirty potential entrepreneurs having degree or diploma in S&T will be trained through a structured programme of 6-week duration. Selection will be based on various criteria set by an internal Team. However, admission is free of cost and medium of instruction will be in English. During the training, participants also get to know the intricacies of how to start and manage an enterprise.
