Cheating case: Former Corporator Somasundar’s anticipatory bail plea rejected

June 22, 2019

Mysore: A City Court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of former Corporator R. Somasundar, who has been named along with others in a cheating case. Based on a complaint lodged by a person that Somasundar and 12 others had cheated him a huge sum of money after promising a job in MCC, the K.R. Police had registered an FIR, following which Somasundar moved the Court seeking anticipatory bail.

Principal District and Sessions Judge Suresh K. Vantigodi, who heard the anticipatory bail plea recently, rejected the same.
