Yuvanika Mysuru has organised a 15-day children’s folk dance and theatre camp at Kalamandira Rehearsal Hall on Hunsur Road in city from May 11 between 10 am and 3 pm.  Those aged above 5 years may take part in the camp where they will be trained in Patta Kunita, Puja Kunita, Rangaata, Body and Sound usage and acting.  Also, a drama will be staged by the camp participants at the end of the camp. Nada Kishorothsava in city from Sept. 8 to 10: Entries invited

Mysuru, May 10- Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, Mysuru, will be organising ‘Nada Kishorothsava’ programme from Sept. 8 to 10. The competition will be in Karnatak and Hindustani Classical Music — both vocal and instrumental except the percussion instruments.

The age limit for the artiste to participate is 30 years and should be able to give a full fledge concert. The soft copy of the biodata with live audio of a concert should be sent by e-mail to: [email protected] before July 8.

Ten selected artistes will perform during September.  Selected artistes will receive intimation by Aug. 8.
