Mysore/Mysuru: M.L. Basavaraje Urs, who donated Rs. 5 lakh to Karnataka Ursu Mahamandali Charitable (KUMC) Trust in memory of his wife B. Shantha, was felicitated during the Chintana-Mantana programme held at Sri Venugopalaswamy Temple recently.

Trust President B.S. Sridhara Raj Urs did the honours in the presence of Secretary Y.M. Kiran, Vice-Presidents MGR Urs, HMT Lingaraj Urs and Indukala Urs, K.P. Lakshmi Kantharaj Urs and M.K. Ananda Raj Urs (guest speakers) and Nanjunda Raj Urs (Editor ‘Ursu Dwani’ Monthly).

B.S. Sridhara Raj Urs and his wife M.R. Bharathi were also honoured on the occasion by Indukala Urs and Ursu Mahila Jagruthi Vedike President Jamuna Urs.

M.K. Ananda Raj Urs, CEO, New Line Advertising and Marketing, spoke on ‘Artificial Intelligence-GPT-4: How it can be utilised in our business.’ Lakshmi Kantharaj Urs spoke on ‘Vision for the community.’

In his concluding remarks, Ananda Raj Urs called upon the audience to imbibe the qualities of Rajarshi Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, former Chief Minister late D. Devaraj Urs and to forge unity to become leaders in a Democratic society. Secretary Y.M. Kiran proposed vote of thanks.
