Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Nairuthya Shivathirthan, Chief Consultant – Surgical Gastro-enterology and Minimal Access HPB Surgery, Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru, has been invited by the Argentine Association of Surgeons as an International Faculty to participate and teach at the 93rd Argentine Congress of Surgery, which will be held at the Buenos Aires Sheraton Hotel and Convention Centre from Nov. 13 to 16.
He will deliver three lectures titled: Surgical Management of Pancreatic Necrosis; Lapa-roscopic Management of Pheo-chromocytoma; Bile Duct Injuries — An Insight into an Enigma.
The 93rd Argentine Congress of Surgery is the flagship conference of the Argentine Association of Surgeons. They share this edition with the 66th Argentine Congress of Thoracic Surgery, the 47th Argentine Congress of Coloproctology, the 31st National Conference of Surgical Instruments, the 23rd National Conference of Resident Surgery Doctors, the 10th National Conference of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the 8th Meeting of the Argentine Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.
Around 4,000 Surgeons from across Argentina and South America are expected to participate. The Conference, with the theme “LESS IS MORE,” will cover various specialities, techniques and pathologies, emphasising Laparoscopic, Robotic, Endoscopic and Endovascular interventions.
